PUTTING IT TOGETHERFrom working on new musicals at The Theater Bug and Music Directing to Music Supervising high-end events in Nashville and custom arranging songs and vocal parts, Laura loves to be in the thick of musical creation and education.
Working with writing partner Cori Anne Laemmel, Laura and Cori began with crafting an original musical ‘If I Were You’ with Laura as music writer and Cori and Laura on melody and Cori as book writer and lyricist and continue to develop new works together produced by The Theater Bug. TPAC 40th Anniversary Celebration.
This project involved working with director Matt Logan and TPAC to curate a killer set list and group of perfomers to celebrate one of Nashville’s foremost performance venues for their ruby anniversary. Additionally, Laura worked with Band Leader Sandy Tipping to lock in a group of band members to showcase the incredible music and arrangements as well as put together a variety of vocal arrangements to teach the singers as the project was filmed over one week during Covid lockdown in early 2021.
