ABOUT LAURA
Laura Matula is an entrepreneur, creator, performer and educator based in Nashville, TN. She is a partner of MA2LA, a husband-and-wife Nashville-based creative firm specializing in brand identity, photography and film. Laura specializes in film as a director/producer and for marketing and design in art direction and brand identity. Laura graduated from Berklee College of Music after studying Music Business/Management and Vocal Performance and moved to Nashville where she worked for years in the music and entertainment industry prior to joining forces with her husband, Tony.

Laura is honored to have been able to perform on some of Nashville’s greatest stages, including the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, TPAC’s Jackson Hall, and Ryman Auditorium.
Laura creates with writing partner Cori Anne Laemmel, artistic director of The Theater Bug, on music for original musical productions the Bug produces. Their shows are also available to license for productions around the country. The Theater Bug is a non-profit children’s theater company in Nashville, TN. For extra fun, Laura works as a vocal and music director and specializes in vocal arranging.
